Rural Engagement and Vitality (REV) in partnership with Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC), NEOEDD, and Wallowa Resources offered a series of Building Rural Economies (BRE) Workshops in Spring/Summer 2024 in La Grande. Download a flyer about this.

This is a community discussion to create economic opportunities. The workshop centered around developing community roles, focusing on eight forms of wealth and linking together the many values and talents of our beautiful three county region. We wanted to bring our collective talents together to create applicable plans and pursue catalytic projects.  

All community members from business owners to entrepreneurs, land owners, home owners, renters, artists and parents were encouraged to join this collaborative effort to establish and  reach a common goal for our area.
